Returns

It is statutory right of all customers who reside in the European Union to withdraw from the purchase 7 days after the order is received. This statutory right applies to Frames or sunglasses from Spectacles Direct only but does not apply to frames that have been ‘customized’, for example with a prescription lens. Any returns for this reason must be in writing.

 

Spectacles Direct 14 day guarantee

 

Our 14 day guarantee has been extended over and above the statutory 7 days to give you extra protection on your purchase with us. This takes effect on receipt of your new glasses or sunglasses.

 

When you receive your glasses we recommend you inspect them thoroughly for signs of any damage or defects. If you do find any faults please contact us within 7 days.

 

If for whatever reason you are unhappy with your purchase we advise you e-mail or contact us within 7 days of receiving your order and posting them within 14 days of receiving your order.

 

When returning an item it must be: unworn, in perfect re-saleable condition and must also come back with any accessories it was sent with. (Case, cloth etc).

 

It is the responsibility of the sender to make sure they reach us in good condition and for any postage/insurance costs. We recommend you use the recorded delivery service as proof of posting is not proof of delivery. (We are unable to take responsibility for any frames lost in the post).

When we receive the frame we will contact you on receipt and check the condition of the frame. If the goods are in an acceptable condition the cost will be refunded. Any part that has been customized, for example prescription lenses, postage or other services in connection to the purchase will be deducted from the refund total. Any order including our free lenses will incur a £10 handling fee.

 

This will be discussed prior to us issuing a refund.

 

Please note, if the frame is found to be in an unacceptable condition we have the right to refuse a refund
