David Syme – Director

No one could be more passionate about spectacles and making sure every pair that leaves our building is 100% perfect. When he isn’t overseeing the Spectacles Direct team, David enjoys fishing for trout. His current favourite brand in his own range of glasses is Oakley.

Colin – Senior Technician

Whilst Colin isn’t creating every unique pair of optical glasses he loves to holiday in Ibiza wearing Police mirrored aviators which allow him to people watch while eating pizza and chillaxing in the warm evening sun.

Darren – Technician

Darren's role involves making sure that all the machinery is working in perfect order and the lenses are cut to precision. Darren loves to spend his free time playing football which allows him to keep fit while doing what he loves. Being the youngest member of our team, he has a pair of Ray-Ban aviators with the new funky blue lenses.

Wayne – Senior Optical Eyewear Consultant

Wayne has a passion for making sure everyone selects the very best glasses to suit their individual look and lifestyle. He loves to look smart at all times and has several pairs of designer ophthalmic glasses. Currently Wayne’s favourite frames are Police optical. When he isn’t at work he loves to hang out with friends and family.

Kirsty – Senior Optical Eyewear Consultant

Kirsty keeps a careful eye on the entire range, making sure they are all kept up to date with the latest trends and colour schemes. Kirsty loves shopping, especially for shoes! Pasta Carbonara and ice-cream helps her to relax after a hard day's work - photographed wearing the New Ray-Ban Wayfarer.

New to the optical industry, Alison sees everything with fresh eyes and makes sure every pair of spectacles gleams before it leaves! Alison loves to holiday in Moraira, Spain but Italian food is her guilty pleasure. Loves wearing all the new funky colours in the D&G range of opticals.
